As a mother, I try to add more veggies to our table. My daughter doesn’t always love them but she eats many veggies I give her. This is where I realize that my mother (and probably yours) was right. Eat more veggies because they are good for you! But what does “good for you mean?” Have you ever thought about it? Many veggies are not only good for you, they are good for your skin! Think of carrots. That cute orange colored veggie is great for your skin.
Here is why:
*Carrots keep your skin healthy and vibrant*
*They are high in beta-carotene*
*They have an antioxidant that is converted to vitamin A inside the body*
*Beta carotene helps repair skin tissue and protects against the sun’s harsh rays*
Sounds good? This is why I am sharing with you my recipe for a homemade carrot dressing that is not only super easy to prepare, but it will also make your skin look and feel healthy. What is most important – I love it, my family loves it, my friends love it!
You can keep it in your fridge for up to a week. You can also use it as a marinade for a chicken dish (Yummy!). Enjoy this super easy carrot dressing with shredded cabbage (that is my favorite) and make the way to healthy skin through your stomach. Tell me your favorite dressing recipe in the comments below.
