How To Plump Lips Naturally

Have you ever wondered how to plump your lips in a natural way and without any surgical corrections? If yes, here is a couple of tips!

The Minimalist’s Guide To The Pink, Sexy & Plump Lips

I was obsessed with lip balm for a long time. I always had to have it with me and was afraid of losing it so I would put my balms throughout my house as backups and even in my car. I just could not imagine my life without these little lip helpers.

These days, I only use it a few times a day. I usually use it in the morning when I wash my face and in the evening before going to bed. I rarely use lip colors. Instead, I often do a lip exercise throughout the day whenever I feel like my lips need a little bit of color, moisture, and firmness.

More Water, Plumper Lips

As we age, the lips also age. They lose firmness, the color fades and they get wrinkly. Don’t you miss them being smooth, soft, and baby pink? Your lips also reflect the condition of your body hydration, and if you feel that they are dry, your body needs more water, too! Lip balm can be a temporary solution, but drinking more water is always a good long-term idea.

The Secret Of Baby Lips

I want to share with you one of my favorite lip exercises. It is very easy and IT WORKS! Lips get plenty of exercise daily through talking, smiling, chewing, and kissing.  So maybe you are wondering what else you can do to help them look better. The exercise I am showing below stimulates the muscles around the mouth so that they make your lips firm, smooth and plump.  You won’t need to use lip balms so often anymore!

The Bumble Bee Lip – Face Yoga Exercise For Plumper Lips

With your mouth lightly closed, vibrate your lips together while making a humming sound for 10 seconds or even longer if you can. For the best results, repeat the vibration until you feel a tingly sensation.  This will take you right back to childhood.  Now you know why babies always have the most kissable mouths.

Make sure and tell me how this feels in the comments below.

  1. Hi Fumiko,
I tried this exercise for the lips. But I only manage to do it for maybe 5 Seconds at the Most…then I Run Out of breath or if I try do it with less air my lips won’t vibrate. Am I doing it wrong?
    Cheers, Nikky

    1. Hi Nikky,

Losing breath is not unusual, especially if you are a beginner with face yoga exercises. And yes, it’s not just you, all of us usually tend to not fully inhale and exhale the air in our lungs.

In order to do the do the exercise right, you will have to learn how to breath properly. 🙂 You can start by trying to fully inhale and then exhale during the exercise to replace accumulated CO2 with fresh, oxygenated air. At the same time, try focusing on your breath – this will relax and reset both your mind and body and get you easier through the exercise.

Let me know if this helped!

      Best,
      Fumiko

Hi Meg, like any form of physical exercise, we recommend routinely performing the exercise to maintain the results.

If you do not have my Ebook, you can get it on my website. https://faceyogamethod.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-the-face-yoga-method/

I am in a process of making a video for the exercises so you can wait for that too.

Also I will try to put a pose on weekly video blog sometime!!

I really think is not hard to smooth out the vertical wrinkles around the mouth area as long as you notice, correct and retrain the area with exercise!

      let me know your progress.

      Warmly,
      fumiko

My youngest student was 16 years old and the oldest one was 93 years old.

As for good diet, I am in a process of making a cook book!!!

      warmly,

      Fumiko
