How to Relax the Forehead and Reduce Forehead Wrinkles

I get asked all the time how to reduce forehead wrinkles. We all use our forehead everyday, often without even realizing it. We frown, furrow the brow and squint. All of these repetitive movements build up creases and wrinkles over time. The key is to be aware of how you move your forehead muscles and to retrain your muscle movement. Most of our forehead movements are just natural reflexes and we don’t even know we are causing wrinkles. In this video I am going to show you an acupressure technique that helps to reduce lines in the forehead.

This is a great exercise to do before going to bed.

Your forehead carries stress and tension throughout the day, which is why this exercise is great to do at night. It will not only reduce the wrinkles, but it will relax your muscles right before you go to sleep and make you more conscious of your forehead movements.

Here is how to do it:
Make a fist with both hands and place your index and middle finger knuckles at the center of your forehead. Breath in and apply pressure and move out from the center to the side, breath out. Repeat this from the center to the side at least 3 times.

Try it out and let me know how it worked for you! I am looking forward to your impressions and comments!

  1. Loving the results of face yoga for forehead! Incorporating these exercises has visibly toned and relaxed my forehead muscles. A natural way to achieve a lifted, youthful look. Highly recommend!

  2. Thanks designed for sharing such a pleasant idea, post is pleasant, thats why i have read it entirely

  3. lol yes iam a very happy person but the way i hold my face lol(sounds funny) gives me very bad wrinkles and people think iam grumpy but thats not the case at all lol

  4. my forehead problem is unevenness. the area between the eyebrows is flatter then either side creating a shadow which looks unpleasant. Is ther any way of evening out or strenthening the muscle above the bridge of the nose?

  5. Gonna try this, thanks! I’m just wondering, is it okay to do this on “dry” skin or would it be better to apply oil first? I read somewhere about massaging the face etc. and it was recommended to use oil on face when doing it to not make the skin sag and/or stretch out. What do you think about that? 🙂
