How To Get Rid Of Bloodshot Eyes

Eyes are used not only to see things but they also are an insight to how we are feeling. It has been said many times that “the eyes are the windows to the soul.” They show your emotions and your inner truth. When you see someone in love, you can “see” that in her/his eyes. When someone is very excited, it shows in their eyes. I love older people’s deep eyes that are full of history, they are eyes which have known both happiness and sadness. You can “see” pain in the eyes and you can “see” a person’s history in their eyes too.  We communicate non-verbally with our eyes.

How to Take Care About Your Eyes

We take care of our skin externally by washing, putting on lotions and creams and getting facials.
We take care of our teeth by brushing them everyday.

How do you take care of your eyes?
Do you eat food that is supposed to be “good” for the eyes?
Do you go to see the eye doctor to have your eyes checked?
Do you take vitamins/supplements for the eyes?

There was a time I had really bad bloodshot eyes. I could not leave the house without eye drops. I was using them very frequently and was told by the eye doctor in Japan that too many eye drops make the symptoms (bloodshot and dryness) worse!! I was very self conscious when I met people because I was worried – “Do they look red?” “Do my eyes look tired?” Those days are gone thanks to the eye exercises I do!

In order to keep a youthful look, you should take care of your eyes both – internally and externally. Here are the exercises that will help you solve many different problems related to eyes (for example, they will help you get rid of those bloodshot, tired, or dry eyes!).

P.S. If you feel dizzy or disoriented when you do this exercise, sit down and do it at your own pace. You can do this pose with your eyes closed and in fact, that works better for bloodshot eyes! Try this and let me know how it works for you.
