How To Make The Honey And Yogurt Face Mask

I am a big fan of natural food and natural beauty products. After learning that 60 percent of what you put on your skin is absorbed into the body I got more into natural beauty products. Face masks can improve your skin condition and complexion by increasing blood circulation, neutralizing the skin, stimulating, and eliminating the toxins, trapping moisture on the skin, and closing the pores. This home made honey and yogurt face mask is wonderful because it is so fresh and is very quick to make. In the video below, watch the whole process!

The Benefits Of Honey And Yogurt

Yogurt contains lactic acid, natural alpha-hydroxy acid and that helps exfoliate and smooth the skin. For this mask, make sure to use plain, thick yogurt with active cultures for the ultimate beauty benefits. If the yogurt is too runny, strain the mixture. Honey is a great natural skin moisturizer, keeps skin soft and fights infections and acne.

By combining honey and yogurt together, you have a great natural face mask that you can even eat!

  1. could I add any essential oils to the face mask? i only use pure, therapeutic grade essential oils (young living)…

  2. I have oily face, pimples and black spots now am beginning to hv large pores pls which face mask or natural treatment will i use

  3. For the last 4 years, I have been using a natural mask recipe that I learned from a dermatologist. The recipe is 1/2 tsp honey mixed with 1/2 tsp wheat germ oil. Can I use it instead of the yogurt mask?

I prefer not to buy dairy products. How about any other non-dairy yogurts — will they work? I have also read about a kombucha face mask using one of the scobies. Do you have any remarks about that?

Hi Judy, I have not tried a Kombucha Face Mask and therefore cannot give you advice for it. Thank you for the suggestions though, will be sure to try it!

  5. Thank you so much for sharing this!
I like to use natural products, too. But most recipes are so complicated and require a lot of expensive ingredients. Finally I found something easy and affordable. And it feels so great on the skin!

    Best regards from the Netherlands
