Scary Truth About Your Make Up Brushes

You know the importance of keeping your skin clean in order to have problem fee skin. How about your make-up brushes? When was the last time you washed your make-up brushes, if ever?

Many of us tend to overlook the importance of using a clean brush when applying make up. Make up brushes can be loaded with bacteria, germs, oils, old make up residue and dead skin cells. Imagine that you are spreading all of these every time you apply make up?

If you eat well, sleep well and take care of your skin but are still having a skin problem such as acne or your skin doesn’t glow like it should, you must watch this video, especially if you use a brush to apply make up.

How To Clean Your Make Up Brushes

It is so easy and simple. All you need is:
• Liquid soap (I like Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps)
(The soaps are all natural and biodegradable and some people even use it to brush their teeth!)
• Dry clean towel
• Paper towel

If you use make up brushes you should wash them once a week. The best time to do that is after applying make up in the morning so that it gives them enough time for the brushes to dry completely. Make sure they are dry when you use them. You will be surprised how dirty they can be. Clean your brush and clear your face.
