The Nasolabial Folds Lift Up

Nasolabial folds, sometimes referred to as laugh lines, are the lines that run along the sides of the mouth. Even in your twenties, you may start to notice short lines running from each side of your nose even when you are not smiling. Despite nasolabial folds being a normal part of aging, you may be concerned about them and wish to minimize their appearance.

As we age, our cheeks sag, and this can sometimes result in extra fat and excess skin on our cheeks. Naturally, with age, the creases around mouth will continue to get deeper also. The good news is, with Face Yoga exercises, you can combat and minimize the appearance of nasolabial folds, 100% naturally!

Are the nasolabial folds your problem too?

A great place to start is “The Nasolabial Folds Lift – Up” exercise. This exercise has minimal steps and can be done anywhere. It smoothes out the problematic fold lines and lifts up your cheeks and corners of mouth. One thing to note is to keep the corners of your mouth at the same level.

1. Curl your upper and lower lips over your teeth without wrinkling your lips and lift up the corners of your mouth.
2. Hold this position for 10 seconds.
3. Repeat 3 more sets.

In addition, to help prevent these stubborn creases from deepening, bringing awareness to your sleeping posture and pillow is important. If possible, we recommend sleeping on your back, and for side and stomach sleepers, a good pillow may help too.

To deepen your Face Yoga practice and help you combat nasolabial folds, we’d love to gift you a FREE downloadable routine specifically created for the Mouth and Cheek Area.

  1. Hello Fumiko,
I tried this for two days. I did it about 3 times each day when I remembered. Now, today when I woke up I could really tell the deepish nasolabial folds were noticeably reduced to almost fine lines. I am totally amazed! Thank you! I have watched other videos before but yours made a difference. Your explanation was clear!
I will be looking to subscribing to your program!

I have had bells palsy for over 7years now. This information has been very helpful to me. It is embarrasing to look at pictures of myself, so I try not to be in any.

    thank you so much,
