Are Your Droopy Eyelids Affecting Your Vision?

Not seeing the world like you used to? Many people don’t realize that there’s a problem with their eyelids until it starts to seriously affect their vision.

If you’re noticing that your eyesight has been getting dimmer, droopy eyelids could be the cause. It could be worth taking a closer look if you’re having difficulty with peripheral vision… Or if you’re finding that you need to tilt your head to see more of what’s happening around you.

If this sounds a bit too familiar, it’s time to start doing some Face Yoga for droopy eyelids. There are simple poses that you can do at home to help improve your eyesight, and they have the added benefit of boosting the appearance of your eyes! The best part is that these exercises are easy and take just a few minutes each day.

But first, you need to know what’s actually happening to your eyes — and what’s causing those droopy eyelids in the first place.

Causes Of Droopy Eyelids

Maybe you’re concerned about droopy eyelids sagging when it comes to your appearance. But if your eyelids are starting to limit your field of vision, it’s time to start looking a little more closely at the signs and causes of drooping lids.

Drooping can happen in one eyelid, or both. It can be something you’ve dealt with your whole life, if your eyelid muscles were underdeveloped as a child. Eye injuries, nerve damage, and some illnesses can also cause droopy eyelids. The most common cause, of course, is simply getting older.

The skin and muscles near the eyes start to lose elasticity as you age. This can cause your upper eyelids to sag and sink, dropping down into our field of vision. It can be hard to live with seeing the world through dimmed eyes. On top of distorting your vision, droopy eyelids can cause extra dryness or make your eyes water constantly, which can feel so uncomfortable.

Some other complications with drooping eyelids you might be experiencing:

  • Eye pain
  • Difficulty reading
  • Inability to safely drive
  • Tension headaches (or migraines) from squinting and tensing your forehead muscles constantly…

What’s happening is that the levator muscle (responsible for lifting the eyelid) is weakening as it stretches over time. As you age, it becomes harder and harder for this muscle to keep the eyelid totally open.

When droopy eyelids are seriously affecting your vision, you need to take the necessary steps to treat and reverse these effects. You need to protect your eyes for as long as you can, so that you can continue to take in all that life has to offer — scenic road trips, time with family and friends, reading your favorite books, and catching unforgettable sunsets…

It’s time for you to take back your quality of life. And while you might think that surgeries and other procedures are the only options, an all-natural alternative is possible!
