Tighten & Lift Sagging Jowls Without Surgery

“Sagging jowls…Does anyone know how to tighten them up?”
“What exercises do you recommend to lift up my jowls?”
“Looking for exercises, particularly for jowls.”

These are the comments I hear frequently whenever I’m hosting training sessions, Face Yoga classes, and having live interactions with my Face Yogi Community.

We all want to have a firm jawline and get rid of the signs of aging we’re already seeing on our necks which is why today, I’m going to dive deep into the jowl area — and specifically, how to eradicate them.

By the end you’ll understand what causes jowls to sag, get my best exercises for tightening jowls, and see the results that are possible for you when these exercises are done correctly and consistently!

Let’s talk jowls!

All About Sagging Jowls

Jowls are one part of the face that people often feel insecure about. But toning them is easier than you might think!

So what are jowls and what do they do?

“Jowls” is a term used to describe sagging skin below the chin and jawline. Our skin naturally loses its collagen and slows down elastin production as we age. With our body producing less of these proteins, our skin starts to lose its smooth, youthful look. And less collagen means more wrinkles.

The Power Of Daily Habits

The change happens quite slowly but it can be slowed down even further by paying attention to two key factors: Our habits and our lifestyle!

If we can increase our awareness of the leading habits that cause sagging jowls, we’re halfway to preventing them.

The elastic skin on our neck and jawline is very responsive to our everyday habits. Bad posture and looking down at our phone while texting, aka “tech neck”, are just two examples of how we stretch and sag that skin unconsciously.

Constant frowning can also lead to more droopiness and sagging so make sure you’re smiling more often (it’s a form of Face Yoga).

Another major thing we don’t pay much attention to is the way we sleep. In this post, I explain exactly how the wrong sleeping positions can lead to sagging and speed up aging.

I’ve also noticed how most of us are dehydrated and don’t even realize it. If you feel thirsty, this means you’re already mildly dehydrated. And if you’re experiencing fatigue and frequent headaches, you may need to up your water intake.

Prevention

We can also reduce the causes of sagging jowls with our Skin Care choices! No matter if you already have neck wrinkles or sagging jowls — you can make small changes to stop them from worsening.

The skin on the neck is just as delicate as the skin on our face. Our neck actually shows signs of aging faster than the face. Because all these muscles are connected, we have to pay attention to how we treat not only our face but our neck.

When we apply sunscreen, for example, we should always remember to protect our necks. Not only the back of the neck but the front and the collarbone area as well. This goes for moisturizers, too!

And as lovely as we smell when we put on our favorite scent, we should try to avoid spraying perfume on our jawline and neck. Despite what perfume ads show us, the alcohol content in perfume will actually dry out our skin!

Instead, we can spray our perfume on our shirt collars or wrists for a wonderfully longer-lasting look and smell.

It’s not just about our habits and lifestyle. We can actually exercise and tighten our jowls without surgery or similar interventions!

Face Yoga is the solution for sagging jowls that we know best and recommend most!

Tightening Sagging Jowls with Face Yoga

Face Yoga tightens and shapes your neck and face muscles, which also naturally tightens the skin. This is the quickest, least invasive, and BEST way to approach your sagging jowls!

You’ve learned that the skin around our jawline and neck loses collagen over time. As the muscles gradually weaken, they lose their volume and elasticity.

When you practice Face Yoga, you move essential nutrients and oxygen to the face. This process encourages cell renewal and rebuilds muscle tissue day by day. By nourishing and strengthening these facial muscles, you also naturally tighten the skin!

Face Yoga targets the source of sagging jowls, instead of focusing on temporary, superficial solutions. These techniques are simple, effective and 100% natural.

I created this Pose specifically for the neck area. Try this Pose now to firm and tighten your jowls!
