Face Yogi; we have a few tips you can make to notice changes faster and achieve the best results with the Face Yoga Method, even when you skip a day (or two!)!  😉 

Tracking Your Results

Tracking your progress is an essential part of the Face Yoga Method Journey. Not just by thinking about what to do and when, but with physical evidence.

You see yourself daily, and subtle changes are hard to notice. Just as you don’t notice weight gain or weight loss in the moment, you won’t notice your skin’s slight tightness and smoothness as it’s taking place.

How To Take Your Progress Photos

  • Start to take daily, or even weekly, progress photos. 
  • Ensure that these are taken in the same light
  • Do your best to take them with the same face position, and expression so that you can take note of your skin’s appearance over time. 
  • Create a FYM progress folder and make it into a ritual to revisit regularly. 

Physical tracking will show you your progress and be a catalyst in moving you forward with your Practice. When you’re able to see and recognize the subtle changes, it’ll inspire you to continue, and therefore create a habit of actually doing the work.

Daily Lifestyle Habits

The most crucial step in getting Face Yoga Method results is evaluating your daily lifestyle habits. The truth is, if your lifestyle isn’t matching up to what you’re aspiring to, you’ll significantly delay your progress. 

For example, if you’re doing Face Yoga Method daily but not getting enough water, your skin will still show signs of dullness and dryness. Combining your Practice with a supportive lifestyle is what’ll skyrocket your results and transform your face! 

We recommend you evaluate all the ways you might be inhibiting your results. Whether conscious or subconscious, awareness is vital in this Journey. 

  • Pay attention to your posture and how you hold yourself throughout the day. 
  • Take regular pauses to notice if you’re squinting your eyes and forehead. 
  • Tally the glasses of water you’re consuming.
  • Pay attention to your sleep patterns.
  • Notice if your food is giving you essential nutrients.
  • Evaluate the amount of alcohol you consume. 
  • Be conscious of how much movement and exercise you’re getting.
  • Stay in awareness of your mood swings and emotional changes. 
  • Take deeper breaths. 
  • Let go of any clenching in the body and face. 
  • Cut down your screen time.
  • Get more fresh air.

These will stimulate the changes in your face, as well as positive changes in your overall well being. When your lifestyle aligns with your Face Yoga efforts, results are inevitable. 

Audit Your Face Yoga Practice

It’s no secret that, as humans, we easily fall into habitual patterns, especially when we do things over and over again. You can see this in the workspace, at home, in relationships, and yes — even your Face Yoga Practice! 

If you’ve been doing FYM for a while but lack the results you crave, you need to audit your Practice. 

What do we mean? 

Start from scratch! 

Evaluate every Pose, how you’re doing it, how you’re breathing through it, what muscles you’re using, etc. Approach your Practice as if it’s your first time doing it. You’ll be surprised by the nuances you might have missed, forgotten, or overlooked altogether!

The biggest tip we have for you is to take pictures, this can help track your progress and notice small changes that you may not otherwise notice, Follow the instructions in each video *fully*, really pay attention, Visualize and focus on the muscles you’re using and Pay attention to your daily habits.
