Face Yoga isn’t only the practice of facial exercises. Face Yoga is your mindset, habits, awareness, posture, diet, Skin Care, movement, Community, self-love, self-image, and self-care. All of these things create a holistic and well-rounded Routine. 

Doing Face Yoga the right way is about, first and foremost, evaluating where in your life could you cultivate more wholesome abundance.

The Face Yoga Method Exercises

Face Yoga exercises have a right and wrong way. In fact, doing Face Yoga the wrong way can actually worsen your skin condition and create unnecessary lines and wrinkles. This shouldn’t scare you, but rather empower you to take the right action to ensure you’re practicing correctly! 

Starting a Face Yoga Practice the right way starts with the right Teacher or Program. In addition, each exercise has very subtle movements that can get overlooked, or over time forgotten. Practicing in the mirror until you master the exercise is highly recommended so that you can actually SEE if you’re doing it correctly.

Sometimes what you think you’re doing and what you’re actually doing don’t match up, making the mirror a vital resource for your results. And no matter how long you’ve been Practicing Face Yoga, pausing to reflect and evaluate the step-by-step guides will ensure you’re revisiting and refreshing your Practice over and over again.

Face Yoga Method Techniques

There are few things you’ll want to bring into every Face Yoga Method exercise and routine. Breath, posture, and relaxation are ESSENTIAL ingredients in doing Face Yoga the right way! 

Keeping an upright posture sets up your Practice. It also builds a foundation for your face. You’re supporting your vertebrae which supports your face and this in itself is a huge step to great results. 

Proper breathing teaches you and your body to relax, and serves as a pillar as you do anything. The abundance of oxygen, and relaxation from deep, intentional breathing is really important to your Practice so that you’re not subconsciously creating tension and contraction but remaining soft, open, and working with your entire face and body, not against it.

Finding Sovereignty In Your Practice

Your Face Yoga Practice should empower you, and inspire you to create a wholesome life that makes you feel vibrant and abundant. We know that this looks different for everyone, so we encourage you to evaluate this for yourself. 

Where could you care for yourself more?
Where could you love yourself more?
Where could you invite more nourishment? 

Perhaps it’s as simple as drinking an extra few glasses of water. With gentle suggestions and guidance, we’ll leave it to you to find sovereignty in that part of the Practice.

    FaceYoga for me is like a wonderful journey. I have been participating in this for a couple of years now. FaceYoga has made me stop thinking about age and gravity.Now at the age of 65, I am instead thinking about how I can tone and build my facial muscles in the right way. I breathe, think about my posture and do my exercises to then relax. The feeling this gives me is a deep satisfaction that I have what I need to live ,a life in the joy of maintaining the flexibility in the body even when age comes and I without my Faceyoga would be desperate, instead I feel great joy. I have a lot to be grateful for and I am especially grateful to Fumiko and her team who made this possible.
